KIDS MINISTRY
WELCOME TO KIDS MINISTRY AT CENTRAL
We want to show the love of Jesus to every kid and teach foundational truths from God's Word at every age and on every level. We provide safe environments for your kids to have fun, build friendships and learn about the God who loves them unconditionally.

BIRTH-PRESCHOOL
In Central Preschool, it is our privilege to minister to your family and partner with you to give your preschoolers their first impression of their Heavenly Father.
We provide a safe, exciting environment with hope that your preschooler looks forward to coming to church, and you can feel at ease leaving your child in the care of our trained volunteers and staff while you worship or join a group.
Preschool Classes are offered at 8:30, 9:45 and 11:00.
Volunteers provide loving care for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers. We use Gospel Project curriculum in our classrooms. Your preschooler will be taught a Bible story and a monthly memory verse in an interactive way as well as participate in a variety of activities and crafts to help them apply what they have learned. We seek to develop a good understanding of God and a core faith through three concepts: God made me, God loves me and Jesus wants to be my friend forever

ELEMENTARY
At Central, we love kids! Our goal is to assist you, the parent, in spiritually developing your child. This is done through engaging and Biblical teaching as well as building lasting friendships.
KIDS BIBLE FELLOWSHIPS (K-4th)
At 9:45am Sunday mornings on the 2nd Floor.
Kids in Kindergarten-4th grade are split into grade-level small groups for Biblical teaching on their level. They also spend time memorizing Scripture and have activities (games and crafts) to reinforce the lesson being taught.
KIDS 56 (5th-6th)
At 9:45am Sunday morning on the 2nd floor.
Students in 5th & 6th grade will start together for a group activity and teaching time. For the last 15 to 20 minutes of class, they break into small groups to discuss the lesson and how they can apply it to their lives. Lessons are topical on things like family, trust, obedience, and God's love, to name a handful. There's also opportunity for social activities outside of class about every 6 to 8 weeks.
KIDS CHURCH (K-4th)
We offer Kids Church during both services. Kids will be dismissed from the service after worship and be escorted to the Kids Club room on the 2nd floor for music, videos, activities, and teaching designed just for them. You can pick up your kids from the 2nd floor after the service or if they are going to the class at 9:45 then our team will take them to their classroom.

On 5th Sundays, we participate in the Lord’s Supper and celebrate baptisms. We do not offer Kids Church on 5th Sundays so that our kids can participate with their families. We do offer activity bags on these days if your child would like to take one into the Worship Center during the service to help keep them engaged.

SAFETY AND HEALTH
Safety and security are fundamental to our Central Kids and Preschool experience. We require all our volunteers to be screened and trained, and we maintain low teacher-to-child ratios to ensure safe care. At Central, we utilize an automated check-in system, and the doors to the preschool hallway are locked at all times with access granted only through the parents’ Guardian Receipts. Children must be picked up by an adult with a Guardian Receipt. Parents will be notified by text message in case of emergency. For health standards, children must be free from fever or symptoms of contagious disease for 24 hours. Let us know of any allergies or medical conditions your child may have.

AWANA
Wednesdays, 6:10-7:40pm
AWANA is a dynamic, engaging program designed to help children (birth to 6th grade) grow in their faith and develop strong, positive values. Standing for "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed," AWANA combines fun activities, Scripture memory, and practical teaching to create an environment where kids can learn about God, build lasting friendships, and develop life skills. At AWANA clubs, children participate in exciting games, listen to impactful lessons, and work on age-appropriate handbooks that guide them through the Bible. The program is structured to cater to different age groups, from preschoolers to 6th graders, ensuring that every child receives relevant and relatable teaching. Parents and guardians can feel confident that AWANA provides a safe, nurturing space where kids can explore their faith, grow in character, and have a lot of fun along the way. Join us at AWANA and watch your child thrive in a community dedicated to nurturing their spiritual and personal development.

It is led by parents and volunteers so it provides a great place for adults to encourage, teach and lead kids to be devoted disciples of Christ. Cost is $40 per child with a $100 maximum per family. Awana is a parent-led program, so we ask that one parent/guardian be serving in Awana every week.

PARENT RESOURCES
The "What If" Game
Encouraging kids to talk about body safety and boundaries
Playing a game with this deck can help children to understand that they have the ability to problem solve, even sometimes on their own. When children feel confident and competent, it adds another level of protection as they go out into the world.

“The Gospel: God's Plan for Me” booklet
If your child is asking questions about salvation or considering baptism, we recommend that they work through this booklet with a parent or guardian. Lifeway’s “The Gospel: God's Plan for Me” is an excellent resource to help you navigate this important discussion. You can pick one up in the Preschool Lobby or after attending our Baptism Class.
