1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
Let us thank God for all He does and Rejoice in where He has revealed Himself this week in and around our lives.
Philippians 2:9 Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
Let us declare who Jesus has been in our lives this week. He has been my……..!
Colossians 3:17 And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord
Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
What have you done this week to further His kingdom on Earth?
Luke 1:68 “Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, because he has come to his people and redeemed them.
Let us give thanks to God for paying our debt and freeing us from the consequences of our sinful behavior.
Isaiah 52:7 How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, “Your God reigns!”
Let us pray for our pastors and the pastors of our city. Let us pray for the missionaries who are traveling this week.
Matthew 25: 40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
Let us pray to have soft hearts that we may be the hands and feet of Christ and minster to Him by being a blessing to those in need.
Luke 10: 36 “Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?” 37 The expert in the law replied, “The one who had mercy on him.” Jesus told him, “Go and do likewise.”
Let us ask God to reveal how we can have spiritual impact on the lives of those with whom He has placed us in community.
Hebrews 11:35 There were others who were tortured, refusing to be released so that they might gain an even better resurrection. 36 Some faced jeers and flogging, and even chains and imprisonment. 37 They were put to death by stoning; they were sawed in two; they were killed by the sword. They went about in sheepskins and goatskins, destitute, persecuted and mistreated— 38 the world was not worthy of them. They wandered in deserts and mountains, living in caves and in holes in the ground.
Let us pray for the persecuted church and those who are suffering this very day.
Matthew 5: 14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
Let us ask God to help us be a light unto our neighbors, a lamp to our city and a lampstand to the world that shows them Jesus.
Zechariah 12:3 On that day, when all the nations of the earth are gathered against her, I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations. All who try to move it will injure themselves.
Let us pray for peace, in Israel, in the Middle East and throughout the world.
1 Chronicles 16:15 He remembers his covenant forever, the promise he made, for a thousand generations,
Let us pray for our generations, children and grandchildren, their spouses and marriages, their children and their children’s children.
Isaiah 6:1 In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord, high and exalted, seated on a throne; and the train of his robe filled the temple.
Let us pray for our Sunday services that God would reveal Himself and manifest His greatness and goodness and Majesty.
